IPSE announces Loughborough as latest University Partner
As a treat before Christmas, we celebrate Loughborough University joining IPSE as our newest University Partner. Education and Training Manager, Lydia Wakefield, kicked off the partnership by delivering a workshop with Loughborough University students who are engaged with the university’s existing enterprise programme. Students from a broad range of subject backgrounds attended, all at different stages in their self-employed journey. Meeting students through IPSE’s University Partnerships reminds us of the amazing new talent entering the self-employed work force.
More and more students and graduates are choosing to work for themselves, either whilst studying or shortly after graduation. And Loughborough is certainly no exception. The university provides students and graduates with a number of resources, events and platforms to support their students who choose to work in this way. As an excellent showcase of just some of Loughborough University’s students and graduates who have set out on their own self-employed careers path, check out Loughborough University’s enterprise ‘Marketplace’.

“As a Loughborough University Alumna, I was delighted to return to my university to welcome Loughborough University as an IPSE University Partner and I look forward to supporting current students pursuing freelancing and self-employment. They already have an extensive range of support for their students including an extensive range of enterprise education and support.”
