James Collings

James has had a varied career both before and since going freelance 1998. He has worked in sales, marketing, technical support and now specialises in Capacity Management across Telecoms, Government and Banking. This involves analysis of large amounts of information to predict future business’ needs, concluding with the presentation of the results in a concise and simple way.

James served on the Consultative Council between 2007 – 2012 and then from 2013. He has also been a member of the Board between 2008 – 2012 and has been re-elected to repeat this role from 2014.

James is renowned for his work in revitalising and repairing the governance of IPSE and supporting the events programme across the South of England. He has experience of working on the Office of Tax Simplification Consultative Committee and HM Treasury's PAYE/NICS working group.
